Gold Creek Pond Fall Maternity Session
Gold Creek Pond Fall Maternity Session
I have been photographing portrait sessions going on 5 years now. It is a wonderful gift and blessing to be apart of each of my client’s lives through all their milestones. One of the best parts of being a Seattle maternity photographer is, all the different locations I get to go and experience through each season. From thick heavy winter snow to fresh spring flowers and then warm glowing sun with the transition of colorful fall leaves it is a beautiful experience.
One of my favorite locations is Gold Creek Pond in North Bend. When I started going to this location it wasn’t as well known as it is now. Now on weekends you can find it busy with lots of photographers trying to grab the best spot to capture the golden light cascading down on the picturesque mountain backdrop behind the crystal clear lake. The mountains are always beautiful here. The changing seasons don’t do much to them but to the dress around them and the blanket of snow that lies at the feet during winter.
This session was taken place during fall. Which, for some reason this is the first year I have gone here for multiple sessions during the fall! There are not as many deciduous trees around that change color but the warm fall tones can be seen in the surrounding foliage. Styling your outfits to blend with the fall tones also adds a beautiful autumn touch. I absolutely loved Morgan’s dress and her families’ outfits. They perfectly matched their individual personalities while coordinating together. Hats and accessories always add a unique touch!
The way the red popped against the blue green tones of the lake was just perfect. I loved her hair grown was magical and elegant with her form fitting dress. The best part of this session as a Seattle maternity photographer was how romantic, candid and real this family was! Their posing and expressions were effortless and natural. These are photos I can look at and see the characteristics of each person by their expressions and how they interacted with one another during their photo session.
The best advice for your photo session..dress the season, show your personality and HAVE FUN!
