Summer Sun Maternity Session | Seattle Maternity Photographer
Maternity sessions are always my favorite. It is even better when I get to document my clients pregnancy and their newborn photos once babies arrive.
Here in the Seattle area on June 30thwe are going through a good 2 weeks of solid winter like weather filled with rain, rain and more rain. It is a Saturday and I was supposed to have another golden-lit maternity session at Gold Creek Pond in North Bend, but with this wind and rain storm coming in we were forced to cancel. It is just one of the challenges of being a Seattle maternity photographer. We have beautiful scenery but the rain and cool weather even during the summer comes with it.
Instead of getting to photograph a beautiful pregnancy session I am using the time to update my website with a past session from Gold Creek Pond! This happened to be on a day we had amazing warmth and lush sunrays drizzling on us opposed to rain!
Amy had first contacted me about her pregnancy way back in January. She had found me on Instagram from a gorgeous snow session I had done. We connected and have been chatting off and on since then and I had been waiting to finally get the chance to do her pregnancy photos! A blessing and a tremendous benefit of a Seattle maternity photographer is the wonderful people I get to meet. It helps and makes it just a little bit extra special to know and get my clients to relax and enjoy their photoshoot! I had a blast at this session aside from all the beautiful photos.
Her gown selection were all from Sew Trendy one of my favorite vendors because of their beauty and quality. With a gorgeous mountain backdrop and the crisp calm of the lake it is a perfect way to remember this special moment. I cannot wait to meet her baby girl in August!
