Gold Creek Pond Maternity Session

To say that Gold Creek Pond is not one of my top favorite locations would be an understatement. When Rebecca contacted me to schedule her maternity session she told me about her love of the outdoors and the PNW I knew the perfect spot. At the time it was March and it was cold wet and everything looked well wintery. What I love most about being a Seattle maternity photographer is finding locations that fit the personality and style of my clients. I was so happy it worked out with the weather that by the time it came for her session that the snow was melted and the cool blue tones from this year’s winter transformed into warm golden tones filled with fresh new life.

Rebecca had come in prior to her session to try on a few of my gowns. At the time I had only my silver shimmer gown in stock, but I had ordered it in gold. It arrived just in time for her maternity session. As a Seattle maternity photographer I am always looking for new gown styles to bring in new trends and designs for my clients. Right now I have about 40 maternity gowns in stock for my clients, but the gold shimmer gown was just perfect for Rebecca and the gold tones of this location! The red and blue dresses from Sew Trendy went perfectly for a pop of color to give her gallery some variety. Pregnancy is an incredible journey and what better way to celebrate it then playing dress up with a few gowns and celebrating you!

This session was a great way to start off my first time at this location with golden summer vibes. I get so excited when clients are able to relax and fun for their session. Taking photos should be an experience to express yourself and the love you have for your little one that will soon be snuggled in your arms before you know it! I cannot wait to meet Rebecca’s baby this summer!
